Zebra

My operation for a torn tendon in my elbow went well. I am a bit sore but so glad it is done because I have had pain for more than two years and m looking forward to a complete recovery. Can't do anything for four weeks though which is going to be a bore. Here is a card I made before the op for the little boy next door. I used my black cat cutter and paper-pieced the zebra. The file is from My Scrap Chick.

Whilst I am unable to craft, I have bought a video photography course and am going to learn to take better photos! Watch this space!

Snow is quite deep here in Wolverhampton. I am glad to be cosy and warm inside. Stay safe everyone xxxx

Hi everyone!  Blimey I'm not so good at this blogging thing am I - I have completely forgotten to blog myself since Christmas even though I have so enjoyed reading all your posts.    I have a very painful arm and I think that has been putting me off and making me lazy but I am going into hospital on Thursday for an operation to fix it so I am really hoping that I will be free of pain for the first time in two years once I have been 'fixed'.  So please bear with :)

Many thanks to Mandy of Crafty Fox Cards for the heads up about Bloglovin.  It definitely looks like the way to go!  Love your cards by the way Mandy and in-fact, it was your blog dropping into my inbox that jogged me into making this post so thanks :) xx

I have known I was going in for the op for a few weeks so I have been frantically getting any cards done that I need during my one-armed time.  Though I would share a couple with you that I particularly like.  Two of them are similar using the same stamp - one of my favorites - the Kanban Peacock.  I have colored them using Promarkers and then stickles of various colors in the feather tips.  Such simple cards really but they look beautiful, especially in real life.  The Name, numbers and initials JJ have been cut out on my Black Cat cutting machine and then covered in the microbeads - first time I have used them and they really look lovely close-up.  Even my husband said WOW! when he saw the green one.   He doesn't normally say much!!!  Anyway, here they are.....

Hope you like them.  That's all from me for now.
Thanks for dropping in.
